Being produced under theregistered trademark of BioCAS, package treatment units are high-quality compact plants that are used for treatment of domestic waters. Thanks to the automation developed by our engineers who specialized in BioCASpackage treatment units, it works with no problems for years with high efficiency. Package treatment units are always one step ahead of their competitors with its low energy consumption feature.
BİOCASR package treatment system offered tothe market by Coşkun Water Treatment is a mobile unit that is produced to service 25 to 10.000 population, generally has a prismatic structure andembodies all equipments.
BioCAS P package treatment units are manufactured in portable sizes from 5mm thick carbon steel and sanded inner and outer surfaces are covered with twolayers of epoxy paint to be protected against corrosion. Having an aesthetic appearance, the package unit is activated by seating on a lean concrete ground.Our company offers 2 years of equipment guarantee for all systems.
Being operation convenience, BioCAS doesnot need any employee. Compared to other alternative processes, it is moreconvenient with low maintenance cost.
Operating process of the BioCAS is based on activated sludge principle. Due to the process necessity, the system works with 4 period per day at totaland each period includes aeration, evacuation and disinfection phases.
With package waste water treatment units, treated water can be discharged to the gardens, water channels or stream beds easily. Productivity of the unit can be increased by using sand filter, carbon filter or UV in the effluent of the package treatment.
All mobile units are assembled and prepared tobe used in 2 days.

How Package Treatment Operates;
Biocas package waste water treatment units, thatis based on batch activated sludge principle called SBR, works fully automaticwith operation convenience.
Before entering to the package treatment plant,waste water coming from a facility is accumulated in a place which is anferro-concrete structure. A coarse screen or a pre-sedimentation basin can bebuilt to catch the water-soluble pieces. The aim for this basin is to ensurethat the waste water flows into the package treatment plant homogeneously.
The waste water that is held in thestabilization basin is conveyed to the package treatment tank by the wastewater pumps with splitter blades under the control of PLC.
The aeration operation performed by the blowerstarts simultaneously with the transfer of wastewater to the tank by thesubmersible pumps in the equalization tank and the filling process continuesuntil the wastewater reaches a certain level. The aeration feeds oxygen andwaste water for a while so that the bacteria can be saturated with oxygen.
After the aeration, the sedimentation phase startsand the microorganisms in the water settle to the bottom of the tank.
During the discharge phase, the clear water at acertain height from the tank bottom is transferred to the discharge point withthe aid of submersible pumps in the tank. In this way, all of the phasescontinues as if a cycle and the treatment is done with the BioCAS packagetreatment units within the regulatory discharge limits.
Package treatment units can be design incircular, prismatic form or as ferro-concrete on demand.
The quality of Package Treatment effluent isstandardized to comply with the discharge limits based on the relevantenvironmental legislation. In addition, if desired, the effluent values can beincreased to a better quality effluent values by improving the features of the BioCAS package treatment units. Package wastewater treatment units aim toachieve high quality of water with low energy consumption. Packaged wastewatertreatment units operate PLC supported based on the water density as a designrequirement.
Advanced treatment equipments such as sandfilter, carbon filter or UV unit can be added to the plant in order to improvewater quality at the end of the package treatment.
Wastewater Treatment Methods
In order to treat the wastewater, many processesbased on today`s technology are used and the economically advantageous and highefficiency processes are selected by considering the desired quality of theeffluent. Some of these are as follows;
SBR (Sequencing Batch Reactors)
SBR is the most commonly used treatment systemin neighbor countries.
CFA (ContinuousFlowSystem)
CFA is a treatment process that is especially suitable for high flow rates. Inthis treatment system, there is a continuous water intake to the packagetreatment unit. Afterwards, the water taken into the package treatment isaerated and finally leaves the package treatment with the sedimentation phase.As long as the wastewater flows in, the treatment operates actively.
BioCAS Reinforced concrete treatmentplants can be built either underground or on the ground. Dimensions can be adjusted to the existing cesspits, reinforced concrete structures and water tanks. Once the construction work is done in accordance with the architecturalproject, the equipment is installed and the BioCAS is delivered to the customeras soon as possible.
We are designing the facilities by taking thewater flow into account. The machine-control room of BioCAS isplaced in underground. Maintenance cost are very low.
The biggest advantage of underground treatmentplants is that they do not cause visual pollution over the ground. Reinforcedconcrete treatment units are not upgradeable like package treatment units.Reinforced concrete underground water treatment systems operate fully automaticand smoothly. The tanks of reinforced concrete treatment are made in accordancewith the architectural plans prepared by us, and after the constructionaloperations, the equipment are installed and the plant is put in use.

The unit shall be assembled and prepared to be used in 3 days.
It is a reinforcedconcrete or compact designed treatment plants for clean water problemsencountered in small-scale settlements such as towns and villages. Freshwaterresources (streams, lakes, rivers) or wells can be used as a source. Theparameters such as density, turbidity, pH, taste, odor in the water are takeninto consideration and the facility is projected and delivered to the user in ashort time. The minimum flow rate is 25 m3 / hour and the maximum flow rate canbe selected considering the required capacity.
The package treatment units we build arepredominantly in demand in the Middle East, especially in Iraq. The productionperiod is at the minimum level considering the size of the project. Ifrequested, it is delivered to the user by being assembled on site.

Operation and Maintenanceof Package River Water Treatment Plants
Considering the capacity for operation of riverwater treatment plants, the number of necessary equipment and the number ofpersonnel for the operation are determined. Applied training is provided to theoperational personnel after the installation. During this training, all theinformation necessary for the operation such as the problems encountered in thePackage River Water Treatment Plant, how to follow up the chemical rawmaterials are provided.
Information about maintenance plans is alsoprovided during the training process for the Package River Water TreatmentPlant. With the 7/24 technical support provided by Coşkun Treatment Systems,the operation of the Package River Water Treatment Plant will be kept undercontrol at all time.
